Beginning in Guadalajara, Mexico, 3 generations ago, the matriarch of my family began sourcing organically grown ingredients from her backyard garden; and experimenting with an assortment of blends and brewing our own family tea. It marked the beginning of our own health & wellness program, and a life-long appreciation for the wonderful healthy properties that tea gifts us. Tea became the drink of choice for family gatherings or when something ailed a family member. It’s hydrating, aromatic, soothing, and healthy qualities contributed to the ongoing and overall general good health and wellness of our family. No wonder it is the most widely consumed drink in the world, save water.

Today the family tradition of sourcing organically grown ingredients from our backyard garden, experimenting with blends, and brewing our own tea is alive and well. It has become a family tradition, part of our daily lives and an essential to our ongoing health & wellness program started by my great grandmother that I continue to treasure; and as my mom passed down to me, what her mom passed down to her, I continued with my children today who enjoy experimenting with new blends, and of course, delighting in the tea.
